Game Day Awards
Weekly awards are provided as encouragement awards and
must be shared equally by all
players within a team throughout the season.
The amount of weekly prizes awarded may differ from season to season
but generally includes:

KFC Award
Ø
Club Apparel Award
The
Coach in consultation with the Team Manager will decide on the recipients on
a weekly basis.
The Team Manager must keep a hard copy spreadsheet depicting who received
the awards throughout the season.
The Committee recommends that a total of no more than eight (8) separate
awards are presented each week.
Home game opposition awards
– a voucher for use at the canteen in the Under 10, 12 and 14 age groups
will be given to the opposition coach for him to award to a player of his
choice as a goodwill gesture.
Annual Presentation Function
The Darley Junior Football Club shall provide each team with eight (8)
trophies. The trophies will be presented in the following categories:

Best and Fairest
-
Runner Up
-
Best Backman
-
Leading Goal kicker
The additional four (4) trophies will be allocated to each team coach to
present at his/her discretion.
It is strongly advised that each of the trophies being presented are awarded
to separate individuals.
Three (3) Memorial family trophies are allocated on a yearly basis in the
following age groups:
Under 12’s -
Les & Lola McKenzie Trophy
Under 14’s -
Mark (Weed) Thacker Best Clubman
Under 16’s -
Beckman Best Clubman
The Committee will choose the winners in each of the two categories in
consultation with the applicable age group coaches.
Games Played Recognition
50
Games
Players who have played 50 games with the DJFC may have a banner celebrating
their personal milestone. It is
the responsibility of the player’s parents/guardian to supply the banner.
The parent is also responsible for liaising with the Coach on game
day as well as organizing people to hold the banner for the team to run
through.
100 Games
Players who have played 100 games with the DJFC may have a banner
celebrating their personal milestone.
It is the responsibility of the player’s parents/guardian to supply
the banner. The parent is also

Club Medallions
Club service medallions shall be presented to players that have continuous
registration from Under 10 to Under 16’s.
